Fellowships

Motion Picture Association (Link)

The Entertainment Law & Policy Fellowship is the first entertainment-focused law and policy program of its kind. Two dynamic students who have demonstrated an interest in entertainment law or entertainment policy, along with a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity in the entertainment industry, will be selected as Fellows during each annual period. The year-long program is an immersive and bi-coastal educational experience in Los Angeles and Washington, DC that hones the skills needed to prepare for future roles in the law and policy fields.

Cohen Milstein Fellowship (Link)

The Cohen Milstein Fellowship offers recent law school graduates an opportunity to build litigation skills, experience litigation under different substantive areas of law, work alongside attorneys from different practices, and explore the diverse and rewarding career paths available for public interest litigators in the private sector. The Cohen Milstein Fellowship also helps promising public interest litigators secure a toe-hold in public interest litigation to support future career decisions.

TCDIP 1L Clerkship Positions - Summer 2024 (link)

TCDIP is proud to host over 35 paid positions for 1L students. The mission of TCDIP is to attract, recruit, advance, and retain attorneys of color in the Twin Cities through education and collaboration with member organizations. TCDIP 1L Clerkship Applications are open to all students and there is no prohibition to apply based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or other characteristics.

Center for Constitutional Rights - Spring Legal Intern (Link)

The Center for Constitutional Rights seeks experienced second- or third-year law students or LLM students with a strong commitment to social justice to provide legal research and analysis as part of a semester-long paid internship or externship opportunity.

Civil Appeals Mediation Program (CAMP) - Spring Legal Intern (Link)

The Civil Appeals Mediation Program (“CAMP”) for the Second Circuit Court of Appeals seeks a legal intern for the Spring of 2024. The applicant must be able to work starting from January 2024 until April 2024. The position can be structured as a full-time or part-time internship.

LatinoJustice PRLDEF - Summer 2024 Internship (Link)

LatinoJustice interns conduct fact investigations and legal research, draft sections of legal briefs and memos of law, participate in client & witness interviews and trial preparation, and accompany staff lawyers to court proceedings and legislative hearings. Law students are included in every stage of planning, developing and prosecuting our impact cases. Recent student work has included research into the First Amendment rights of day laborers, the Fourth Amendment rights of individuals involved in immigration home raids, and the Fourteenth Amendment right to equal protection.

PlantACT!

The University of Cologne North America Office cordially invites you to a panel discussion and networking reception featuring work from our research cluster of excellence on plant science CEPLAS and partners. This event showcases the new bottom-up PlantACT! Plants for Climate Action initiative which brings together leading scientists and other stakeholders with the aim of tackling climate change challenges. From finding solutions to the future of global food production, to reducing agriculture-based emissions, PlantACT! shows research in action.

With a 2-day long experts’ workshop and the public panel discussion, the European PlantACT! initiative will be promoted in the U.S. These events will be organized in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of Germany to the UN, the German Consulate General New York, the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New York, and the German Research Foundation (DFG) North America.
